FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Announces final single “Bite the Bullet”

off upcoming debut EP, Chaos Culture

(May 4, 2023 - Seattle, WA) - Quickly following their upbeat single, “Smooth Velocity”, Terra Nobody announces the final single, Bite the Bullet off their anticipated debut EP, Chaos Culture.

Bite the Bullet” will be available on May 12, 2023, and their Chaos Culture EP is releasing June 2, 2023 coupled with a performance at Sunset Tavern.

Entirely self-recorded, produced, and mixed, Chaos Culture, is a project that reflects the times. The eclectic and angsty EP spans 6 songs, touching on subjects ranging from sexual harassment, to climate change and gun violence. With pop vocals woven through dark and emotional sounds, the EP’s sonic identity is influenced by artists like Mother Mother, Aurora, Massive Attack, Foals, and Radiohead.

"As artists, we've learned that love and joy co-exist in infinite forms alongside chaos. Our EP, Chaos Culture, embodies love and loss. We wrote ‘Bite the Bullet’ to make space for grief- something we feel is woefully lacking in our modern society." - Terra Nobody

The new single is largely a song about gun violence, but is also a metaphor for death and living bravely, despite knowing that someday, the end comes for everyone. The dance and cry track is heavy, yet energetic and leans heavily into the alternative-electro genre.

Terra Nobody will headline the Here-After stage at Belltown Bloom on May 6, 2023.

ABOUT TERRA NOBODY

Terra Nobody is a black female-fronted, experimental Alt-Rock/Art-Pop band from Seattle, WA.

In 2021, Terra Nobody began playing locally, recruiting producer/bassist Luke Culbertson and drummer Wes Hampson in 2022. In the last year, they toured the UK, played KEXP’s 50th Anniversary show, headlined Fremont Fridays Pride Show, performed on the Crocodile mainstage, and have had their music played on multiple radio stations, including KEXP.

The band was formed by lead singer Ali and lead guitarist Brett while fleeing the Oregon fires of 2020. Feeling trapped with the region burning around them, the duo bought an old shuttle bus and drove across the country. While holed up in the Bayou, they realized that their calling was to create a sonically cathartic universe through music and find their sense of belonging amidst a chaotic world.
